“Muddy Magic” Deel 9 Winter Muddies

Wanneer jy verby die Barrage ry lyk die oewers altyd so aanloklik om by te hengel en vandag neem Herman Smit my na ‘n stukkie oewer reg onderkant die keerwal waar hy al goeie sakke Muddies gevang het. Die winterkoue is in die lug toe ons vroegoggend langs die water stop, maar tenspyte van die koue draai die vis oral op die rivieroppervlak… 





Every angler needs a solid base from which to work from, whether it's an easy water to fish and build confidence, or a favourite bait which has never let you down, and certainly a couple of choice hook patterns which you know will catch fish from anywhere in most of the situations you might find yourself in.




Tzaneen: Go BIG or go HOME

There is just something about specimen carp angling and big, wild dams. One of my favourite big carp dams has to be Tzaneen Dam, and I’m sure that most who have fished it would agree with me. Why? This dam just simply has it all - it has beautiful tropical landscapes, lots of big mirrors and commons and little to no angling pressure. What more does a carp angler want?
